I've posted about a number of politically-minded developments in the music world this summer. This one, from Carmaig de Forest, may be the most offbeat.
Dear Friends & Fans,
I'm part of a very special show in New York this Friday. If you're in

Also, in honor of Dubya's Ukulele Farewell Party, a lyric sheet and
ukulele chord chart of my song "George Bush Lies" is up on my website
along with the audio version. In related news, the song will also be
featured in the September issue of The Big Ugly Review
an online fiction, poetry and music zine.
On less political fronts, the new album, "Idiot Strings" (recorded
last year in the Yukon) is slowly making its way off the back burner.
I'll let you know. But first I'm continuing my east coast housing
adventures by relocating yet again -- this time to Philadelphia. Long
story, but we're looking forward to living in the City of Brotherly
Okay, see you Friday and best end-of-summer wishes,
Carmaig de Forest
