How many of you are following EduMOOC? the Massive Online Open Course running at this URL: https://sites.google.com/site/edumooc/
A MOOC is whatever you want it to be ... I'm organizing my small corner of this MOOC here:

More Details to come via Twitter on the #EduMOOC tag
And then there is a discussion on online learning research:
On Thursday, July 7, at 2:00 pm Eastern, 1:00 pm Central, noon Mountain; 11:00 am Pacific time in the U.S. - 7:00 pm GMT London time, NOT!
I have already alerted them to this:
Checking the time,
I notice that 7 pm London is 6 pm GMT, so beware. I'm sure they mean London time when calibrated with the other time zones.
The conference mavens say they "will host a live Web conference on the weekly topic. We plan to provide hundreds of streams of the "live" Thursday sessions in both flash format and non-flash (mobile) format so that participants can view the panels. A Twitter back channel will also be encouraged for ongoing discussion of the panel. The hour-long conversation will be recorded and the URL for the recording will be made available the following day, July 8th."
Finally, next Sunday at 1300 GMT I'll host a Learning2gether event on the topic to help anyone who needs it come up to speed with the MOOC and touch base with anyone who's done that well at bat :-)
