The issue I had was that *.asp and *.js would not open from explorer
automatically and would always give me the "open as..." dialog.
The solution was to associate the specific extensions *inside* edit+
to open these files with edit+.
Files-->Settings and Syntax Setting
At the bottom right check "Associate in Explorer"
