The fire irons give you the advaantage of moving pots away from the
fire to stir, or add ingredients. Less smoke and heat in your face
Think about looking down at the irons from above. Three irons are
upright in the ground, set up in a triangle shape. The two horozontal
irons form the legs of the triangle. The horizontal iron across the
top of the fire holds the oven. You can slide it down the length of
the other horizontal iron to get it out of the fire. You now have it
on the side, and can check it without standing in all the heat. Slide
it back over the fire when you are through, and it will continue to
