In the Makefile comment out "NEW AX25" and uncomment "KISS". Then
DIGI_NED is compiled with the KISS module that talks directly to a
serial port. Example:
digi_ned -p /dev/com1:9600:1 -v -d -a -k
Tells digi_ned to connect to /dev/com1 at 9600 baud and that the port
has a TNC with one port (DIGI_NED understands multi-port KISS).
Limitation is that this works for 1 TNC, so for multiport solutions
using more than one TNC you have to use kernel AX.25 or use AGWPE (I
don't know if there is a Linux equivalent for that not using AX.25
support in the kernel). AGWPE selection is also made in the Makefile.
