Wow super Bob, my P-500 has a black base, have seen a number with
gray base also, guess different years perhaps. Label looks really great.
Did you get those made someplace?
I have a Martin/Bunnell Flash key, the original type design with just a
for the lever to pivot on and not a "bridge" or trunion, its has a hand
serial on the bottom 300 something, appears to never had a label, would
like to have a label made for it one day. Have a picture or two of labels
from like keys.
I sold my collection some years back, in fact about 12 years back, and
have a few keys that I use and like to keep around. Have a McElroy that has
someones name cast into the side of the base from the factory, have not
able to determine why or who the guy was to have that done.
I really like to restore old junkers, and try to take them back to original.
