Happy New Year!
Thursday is the Rainbow reading group! Check below for more information. Also, WRAC is starting the new year with some training sessions.
I will have more Connections info as we gear up in the new year. There is a lot ahead though most groups are holding off till late in the month. I hope everyone a fun holiday!
RAINBOW READING GROUP UPDATE
Due to a conflict with another Connections' group and, of course, those thrilling caucuses at the start of 2008, the Rainbow Reading Group will get together on Thursday, January 10th.
The location and time will remain the same: Campanna coffee house (on the ped mall, across from the Sheraton) at 7 PM.
Remember that the group has a "no guilt" policy. That is, if you do not finish a book by meeting time, no problem; you can still join in. There will be sweets too!
January's selection is "When I Knew" (book info. below). This volume, full of photos and drawings, is a collection of smart, funny, and often poignant stories about that revelation for all gay men and women: when they first knew. Acclaimed fashion and celebrity photographer Robert Trachtenberg brings humor and style to the Eureka moments of more than eighty contributors, some famous and some not.
Hope to see you at the meeting!

important issues by training them to develop and use strategies for
political action and social change.
