Commercially that may have been true, but I used to work in Naperville, IL
(aka Indian Hill) where many department heads had a trunk full of cell gear
and 2 trunk mount antennas.

A little known fact of cell phone history: today is the 25th anniversary
of the first commercial cell phone call that was made on Ocotber 13,
1983 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
