Well according to the jouno's, combat photographers, ect on the Black Flag Cafe, Chechnya is considered old news and the major news networks like to wait around like vultures for Iraqi citizens, soldiers, and US soldiers to be killed by "insurgents". Well that and maybe the Darfur Genocide thats going on.
But regardless, if & when Doku Umarov is able to organise a large offensive as he wants. Then Chechnya might become "newsworthy" again. It certainly was a big enough deal the first time the Nokche Borz kicked the russian army out of half of Grozny and sent them back to Russia to regroup for the current occupation.

Subject: Blast near Belgatoy kills four russian troops
05 may 2007
Alkavkaz.com reports in reference to chechen sources, that chechen
fighters under Commander Usam ambushed a russian convoy near the
village of Belgatoy in the Schali-District. The rebels blew up a
Kamaz-truck, killing all four soldiers onboard. One should remind,
that Commander Usam trains young chechen recruits. Maybe the blast was
carried out by those recruits in order to practice guerilla warfare.
Undoubtely this is a bad sign for the russian army´s future in
Chechnya as more and more young chechens join the rebel ranks. The
large inflow of young volunteers was recently confirmed in many rebel
reports, including the last speech of Dokka Umarov, the rebel´s
commander in chief.

PS: As usual, russian and western media haven´t reported anything
about this chechen attack.
