> For those of you using the Gourd Toppers/Circle Templates sold by Miriam Joy, I would like to pass on an idea I had. I use a couple of sizes all the time and got tired of having to go back and re-measure for hole placement for a dream catcher or weaving. I suddenly had an idea why not mark them on the circle template! So, using my computer I created a simple circle chart with lines marking even spaces all the way around. I then traced these marks onto my circle templates and use a leather punch to create small holes in the center of the band of the template. Now when I use them for marking the opening I can also mark the placement of the smaller holes at the same time. If you mark every hole they will be at 15 degrees, every other hole is 30 degrees and every third hole is 45 degrees. Hope some of you find this helpful. I have posted a PDF in the file section called Circle Divided. The first page shows you one of the circle templates with the holes and the second page is the guidelines for you to use if you want to do the same thing.
