Client Services Manager (1.0 FTE)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experience direct service providers who is ready to step up into culturally diverse environment and help us provide stability, advocacy and support to clients who have substance abuse issues and are in need of intensive recovery support and housing. We are looking for people who are interested in being part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those who are seeking to live clean and sober. Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS services, homeless population, group facilitation and substance abuse support is required. Applicant must have a clear understanding of issues impacting homeless individuals, as well as experience in conducting assessments, creating service plans, preparing progress notes, facilitating case conferences, outreaching and creating relationships with other providers, developing educational workshop for clients and managing referral follow-ups.
Essential Job Functions:
# Management of inventory and supplies
# Create group schedules, lead facilitator for life skills group and HIV support group
# Participate and assist with the development of client training programs
# Responsible for creating Service Plans, Linkages and Referrals and managing client documentation/files
# Collaborate with management team and external service providers to meet the needs of a diverse group of residents
# Ability to regularly work some evenings and weekend hours
# Develop inkind support and oversee volunteers
# Ability to conduct risk assessments and assist clients with creating a risk reduction plan and strategies to sustain healthy lifestyles
# Bachelors degree in related field and/or demonstrated experience providing HIV/AIDS, Substance Abuse Support services to a diverse population.
# Experience providing case management services for dual diagnosis clients
# First Aid/CPR and current PPD clearance
# Previous experience working with adults in a residential program setting in a congregate living facility
# Experience and clear understanding of Harm Reduction Principles and Risk Reduction interventions.
