We're Catholics who are big fans of The Well Trained Mind by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer. We're convinced of its value and are actively applying it to our homeschooling lives. Have any of you ever wondered how to put a Catholic perspective into the curriculum? Have you been trying to do this on your own through trial and error? Don't you wish that you had a "comrade" whom you could share ideas with? Some of us WTM'ers are either converts or reverts to the faith who are now faced with the challenge of trying to weave a Catholic perspective into the curriculum. What about history? What can we use in addition to or instead of The DK History of the World? Where can we find a chronological reading list for OUR history and literature? How do WE deal with the creation/evolution debate? Are you pulling in texts from Seton, Kolbe, OLV, MODG, etc? Then share with us how you're going about it and what the results have been. Let's all share our ideas, questions, and solutions with one another.
