The Royal Botanic Gardens of Sydney has put up a mixed media exhibition on plant evolution. They wanted some pinned euglossine bees to help illustrate a section on Neotropical orchids and their pollinators. Surprisingly, there are no specimens of such bees at the Sydney Museum of Natural History, just down the street, or in the National collection in Canberra. Would anyone care to donate some specimens? They would be sent to Dr. Peter Weston <Peter.Weston@...> at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. After the exhibition closes the specimens could be donated to the Sydney Museum. If you are interested in making a donation please contact Dr. Weston for details.
