The Marin Golden Gate Barbershop Chorus is sponsoring this special event
on May 19th at Angelico Hall, Dominican University, San Rafael. It
includes a top quality concert in the evening at 7:30 and a novice a
cappella workshop at 1:30 PM for men and women, adults and students.
Skilled leaders will teach close harmony in the barbershop style.
Ticket prices for the concert are $20, $18 & $15, students free.
Workshop is $5 for adults, students free.

POT O 'GOLD CHORUS. This is the Bay Area Metro Chapter of SPEBSQSA. If
you've never heard this 40 man chorus you should make an effort. Five
time International finalists. The quality of the singing is simply
RAZZCALS Sweet Adeline quartet, 4th place International winners last
Fall. Young, vivacious, stunning performers.
BRASS RING quartet. Six time winners in Northern California
competitions. Gary Bolles, Pot O'Gold Director sings baritone. And he is
a task master!
Rounding out the program will be:
SHOW CHOIR, San Marin High School. This chorus, directed by Emily Gates
(Marin County Women's Hall of Fame) has performed at Carnegie Hall in
"les etoiles", teen girls ensemble from Choral Singers of Marin,
directed by Jan Pedersen Schiff.
REFRESHMENTS, Napa High School quartet, together for only five months,
just won 3rd place (high school category) in heavy competition at
SPEBSQSA's Far Western District Spring Convention.
THE MARIN GOLDEN GATE BARBERSHOP CHORUS. We have just a small part in
the program. We're bringing top level talent into Marin for the first
time hoping to attract some attention and to raise the profile of
Barbershop Harmony as a great a cappella art form.
