Baroque Choral Guild Announces Discounted Student Tickets for 2003-2004
As a result of an anonymous donation, BCG is able to offer $6 student rate
tickets (regularly $10) for our entire season programming. For groups of
five or more, tickets can be purchased at $5 each.

ID must be shown to redeem discount tickets. All seating general. Preview
lectures 1/2 hour before concert.
College students interested in auditioning to sing either the Rachmaninoff
Vespers or Beethoven Symphony No. 9 may contact Sonja Wohlgemuth at
650-424-1410 to schedule an audition time. Auditions available early
December and January.

Bach - Mass in B minor
The Guild Chorus opens its 25th anniversary season with the monumental
Baroque masterpiece, Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B minor. Bach displays
his genius in the supreme legacy of his craft, an embodiment of the very
essence of Baroque music. A stellar cast of soloists and the Jubilate
Baroque Orchestra of authentic period instruments join the chorus in a
Saturday November 22nd at 8:00pm in Palo Alto.

a passionately spiritual synthesis of the Russian composer's dazzling
harmonies and the traditional Byzantine chants of the Russian Orthodox
Church. The Guild Chorus sings the work unaccompanied, in the original
Beethoven Symphony No. 9

Closing its anniversary season with yet another exhilarating program, the
Guild Chorus collaborates with the California Symphony to present Ludwig van
Beethoven's Choral Symphony and a new work by Kevin Beavers, the orchestra's
composer in residence. Joy, happiness, and friendship resound as we
