Our daughter, Kayla, will be three on November 15th. Her knees are both contracted at about 30 degrees. We are gathering information on the surgeries available to her to correct her contractures so that she might be able to walk. Our options are the osteotemies or the stapling procedures which were just recently mentioned. We are interested in hearing from anyone with information on these procedures, their recovery, and outcome.
Thank you for any advice you can offer!
Krista and Bill!
