The messages in this film for doves (peace lovers) and
tree-huggers (environmentalists) are obvious.
Less obvious is that Avatar is a metaphor for the
resurrection of the dead. I'm quite serious about this. The planet Pandora is a
metaphor for the Kingdom of Heaven. The whole world is like the Garden of Eden.
The acceleration of gravity is much less than we are used to
In Heaven, resurrected human beings will have physical
bodies that are like the Avatars. They are fully functional physically, but they
have no spirits or memories. They are in suspended animation, waiting to be used
at our death.
In our reality I believe that God saves our memories every

intense fear of heights. I can't stand it when I see a picture (still
or movie) of someone standing at the edge of a precipice. But I
felt no fear watching Avatar because I understood that on
Pandora, the terminal velocity is not fatal because the gravity is so
weak. We know this because the dialog says so and also because the
natives are 10 feet tall.
Cameron is a genius, and he deserves a lot of credit which I'm sure he
will get. But he is not smart enough to have written this screenplay
without divine help.

think more about it.
