For those of you (Julian) that like Grid Squares, you'll like the
version just posted (2010/09/22 20:37).
If you have Configure / Screen / GridSquare checked to see the screen
center grid square in the lower left corner, you will now see grid
square outlines at 45% and 95% opacity. The left/right arrows adjust by
5% for each increment, but don't worry, if you see the grid square, you
can't help but notice the outlines when they appear unless you're zoomed
WAY up close. Zoom levels 0 through 4 show 2 character squares
(unlabelled), 5 through 9 show 4 character squares, and 10 and higher
show 6 character squares.
This should help those of you that are trying to work multiple grid
squares when you're out and about. You'll be able to tell if you are on
a corner and can claim all 4!
Also, I've done some changes to the Lat/Lon line display at 0%. Those
of you that had "strange" lines in that mode, please give it another try
and see if it was integer overflow causing the issue. My correction
limits screen displays to 32,767 pixes square, but I don't think that's
much of a limit for now, although in some multi-monitor setups, it might
be, but only if you put APRSISCE/32 on ALL of the monitor simultaneously!
