Subject: evening post competition
On 23rd December 2003 the Nottingham Evening Post promoted a "Win a night out at races", where a lucky reader can win a night out at the "John Smiths Futurity Cup" meeting on January 19th 2004.
Any organisations which supports or promotes Nottingham Greyhound Stadium is a target of NAARS. We are calling on all anti-dog racing campaigners world-wide to help us cause as much economic disruption to Nottingham Evening Post as possible during the duration of this competition with the following tactics.
1. Please send postcards with either a message opposing this competion or enter it if you want (with no intention of cliaming it of course) . To enter it simply send a postcard with your name, address, postcode and daytime telephone number, along with putting the answer to the competitions question: Very Hot.
Send your postcards to: Nottingham Greyhound Stadium Prize Draw, PO Box 188, Sports Desk, Nottingham Evening Post, Castle Wharf House, Nottingham, NG1 7EU.
The closing date is January 6th.
Please also thank the Post for publishing the names of local companies sponsoring greyhound races at Nottingham - they have supplied us with campaign targets. More details on these campaigns early next year.
2. Contact the Nottingham Evening Posts Sports Desk: 0115 948 2000, as many times as possible up to 6th January.
On the 6th January we are calling an international phone and email blockade (details below) of the Post.
3. Contact the following newspappers phone nos/ emails: Newsdesk hotline: 0115 964 4065

4. Take part in the International phone/ email blockade of the Post on 6th January 2004, the day the competition closes.
Please pass this email on to has many people as possible. Remember the more times the Post is contacted the sooner it will realise it is not worth publishing Nottingham Greyhound Stadium in any way. Lets hit them hard and fast.
Since this will be the last email I send out on this subject till the new year I wish you all a very merry X-mas and a happy new year.
