For those of you who have not read about these 19th century finds, you
will have something to read on this day of giant storms in the
midwest. Please don't get a shovel and start digging. Native
Americans believe if you disturb a grave you disturb the heaven of
those buried. Any objects removed will deprive that person of its use
in the after life. One person's superstition, is another's religion.
This from Ross Hamilton's research in a magazine article on line. I
find it hard to believe that people won't accept this evidence since
there is so much of it related to this type of burial. There are so
many finds and little modern testing done on the skeletons. There is
a link to Dr. Hrdlicka of the 19th century Smithsonian Museum. He
often told his students that if they find such evidence of a race of
very tall people, to bury them back in the earth.
