Did a little research myself but still got a couple questions,
hoping you guys/gals and help me out here. I am a Legal Analyst, 7
years of experience in Legal field, primary duties are SEC Filings
(10K, 10Q, 8K, Section 16 filings), Corporate housekeeping,
administer company's stock plan...etc...
I don't have a paralegal certificate but are looking into getting
one so I can get better salary with the credential.
Here are my questions:
1) How does employers value Paralegal Certification through NALA??
(I didn't finish college, but I have 7 years of experience so
per NALA provisions I can sit through the exam with attorney's
certification of my experience.)
2) Do ppl who went through a Paralegal Certification Program in a
school setting obtain additional certification through NALA?? I
guess the question is how well is NALA recognized in the legal field.
3) What are the differences between NALA Certification vs.
Paralegal School Certification??
I really want to become a certified paralegal but don't have the
time and money to go through a whole program for it. BTW, I am in
the state of Cali.
Thank in adavance for anyone's comments and input.
