Subject: H-Ed: Southern Historian, Editors Needed
Associate Editors Needed
The Southern Historian, a journal of Southern History published by The
University of Alabama, is now accepting Associate Editor applications
for the Spring 2001 (vol. XXII) issue. A limited number of positions
are open to active graduate students in all fields of history, but
American and Southern history specialties are preferred.
Associate Editors will serve as referees for manuscripts submitted for
publication in The Southern Historian. Associate editors are expected to
review at least 5 manuscripts per year.
If you would like to apply, please send a cover letter outlining your
experience and qualifications (two pages maximum), a c.v., and a writing
sample of original work by June 16, 2000 to:
