The United States
Centennial of Flight Commission (COFC), created by Congress in 1998 to encourage
and promote the commemoration of the achievements of the Wright brothers and the
centennial of powered flight, has placed on the FAA procurement web site a
solicitation to enhance the Commission's World Wide Web site. The Commission's
web site is located at www.centennialofflight.gov
and includes information related to the centennial of flight
celebration and the history of aviation.
The Commission is seeking
enhancement proposals that might include textual, primary source, multi-media,
etc., that help in the understanding of the history of the Wright brothers and
the development of flight.
Anyone who might have an interest in this
solicitation may find specific information about it on the FAA at URL:http://www.asu.faa.gov/faaco
this site click on the "Contract Opportunities" and then search on the
"Centennial of Flight" for this announcement. The closing date for this
solicitation is May 4, 2001.
