Pre-Release Specialist: Assists, educates, and refers IDOC offenders in obtaining housing, employment, job skills, modes of transportation, and other support services upon discharge from facility. Applicants must have experience performing case management, writing transition plans and be familiar with community resources. Preferred applicants will have a degree in Social Work or a related field. $15-20.15/hr, DOE. Closes 9/14.
Crime Research Technician: Identifies trends and patterns as it relates to jail activity; monitors and analyzes changes in jail incidences; prepares reports using jail statistics and analysis of statistics. Requires bachelor's degree with coursework in computer sciences, statistics, and sociology. $12.75-$13.25/hr, DOE. Closes 9/14.
Administrative Specialist: Assists the Sheriff’s Legal Advisor in maintaining contracts and other files, verifying documents for accuracy, and in research-related work. College coursework in the legal field or criminal justice preferred. $16-17.15/hr, DOE. Open until filled.
