is simple canyoneering, but the term seems to be getting used a

we were hardy people. I live in Denver now, but I lived in
Minnesota and South Dakota for over 20 years. The weather was
great! Wading around in 50° water wearing fleece britches and dry
pants is nothing compared to waiting for a bus when the wind chill is
-100°. And the bus never comes!!!
Bummer on the camera! I tend to try and drink a lot the day before
I go hiking and on the way to the hike because I am really bad about
drinking enough while hiking as well.
out the camera is ok.
junction of Highway 9 & 89 did you see the big Golf Course and the
Best Western? That's mine.
We did see
the Best Western. I thought about stopping but time is time.
We had a long drive in front of us and decided to git on back to my dusty
ole cowtown. Next time though, now that we know the area a bit and
where we're going, we'll try to drop in for a night.
you're going east on Hwy #12 east of Bryce. What's that huge canyon
just before you go over the 9200' summit? That road had my
flatlander friend leaning to the left. Beautiful place.
