Well, it's here, I set it up, it's VERY impressive, the rain actually
went away for 24 hours, I can control it with The Sky, (left
everything on the PC set up as it was for my now-departed LX200), but
ACP won't "see" the SkySensor2000.
Is anyone successfully controlling the SS with ACP? If so, any tips?
Any non-LX200 style configuration req'd? All else I've read says the
SS really looks like an LX200 to most software - is this correct? Just
looking for learnings.
And hey!!! It's really weird watching the SkySensor take my little
90mm scope on a "tour" around the whole sky when I said "GOTO" from
Regulus to Arcturus. Wasn't like that on my LX200 - a 35 degree slew
(across the Meridian)was just a 35 degree slew! Now this new GEM thing
I've purchased apparently can just decide to "loop the pole" and take
the long way home whenever it wants - COOL!
