Stoney Creek is part of the City of Hamilton

Horse Guards' Parade in London was the Headquarters (HQ) of the
British Army. Orders from Horse Guards' issued to the army were
expected to be obeyed, since they came from the highest authority.
Hence the expression "Straight from the horse's mouth!"
