Dear Webster University Faculty:
We are pleased to announce that an official
chapter of Tau
Sigma has been established at Webster University.
Tau Sigma is an academic honor society designed
to "recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement
transfer students." One of
our primary goals is to assist all transfer students with becoming
here at Webster University.
We are honored to have the support of President
excited to announce that Dean Rothenbuhler and the School of
the official sponsor of Tau Sigma.
Professor Scott Jensen is the chapter’s advisor.
Students are more likely to join and be
encouraged by their instructors.
Here’s how you can help along with useful information:
- Tau Sigma is a National Honor
Society for Transfer Students attending a four-year institution
- Criteria: complete at least 12
credits at Webster University, obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher,
enrolled as a full time student
- The attached list of students was
mailed an invitation letter and application to join Tau Sigma
- The application must be postmarked
by April 4th to be eligible to become a member this term and be
included in the induction ceremony
- Take a look at the
attached list and see if there are any students you know and
encourage them to take advantage of this exciting opportunity
