RADIO UNNAMEABLE (Paul Lovelace & Jessica Wolfson, 2012, USA, 87 min.)
Legendary radio personality Bob Fass revolutionized late night FM radio by serving as a
cultural hub for music, politics and audience participation for nearly 50 years. Long before today’s innovations in social media, Fass utilized the airwaves for mobilization encouraging luminaries and ordinary listeners to talk openly and take the program in surprising directions. Radio Unnameable is a visual and aural collage that pulls from Fass’ immense archive of audio from his program, film, photographs, and video that has been sitting dormant until now. Join the filmmakers for Q&A following the screenings on October 5 & 6.

I would love to play it. Last time I tried to book it it was unavailable. I think they have some rights issues with the music. I'll look into it again.

spoke with Barry Hufker yesterday. He said that the Audio Department (AES) is interested in co-sponsoring a screening of The Wrecking Crew documentary.
This would play well here.
