Subject: [WEBSTERAUDIO] Police involved: Mac adapter to big screen in MIDI room
Date: Thursday, April 19, 2012, 11:55 AM
We have had 2 stolen this week. We are on our 3rd replacement today, and I have just finished filing a police report.
Public Safety will be putting in another surveillance camera and the swipe card access is being pulled and analyzed by appropriate personnel.
If it happens again or we simply find the culprit (as we are working towards now), University policy is to 'expel and charge with crime'.
An alarm is going to be installed on the doors, much like in the dorms, to go off if they are propped open outside of class time.
*Please do not prop the doors open if no one is in the room regardless of the time*
If the 2 adapters are returned and this ridiculous behavior ceases, I will not pursue pressing charges. They could be dropped off in my faculty mailbox in the SOC. But the surveillance is still going in no matter what to prevent any additional issues.
