Maps have been printed. Controls have been configured and ready for the
woods. Looks like rain on Friday night, but they say it should be out
of here by early Saturday morning. Looks like we will have several
groups joining us, scouts and JROTC....
The woods are getting green, but it should not be any problem
navigating the open woods at Oak Mtn.
Join us at Oak Mtn State Park on Saturday, April 19.
Start anytime between 10am and noon.
Score-O format with 25 controls (5, 10, 15, and 20 point values)
Farther, more difficult = more points. 10 point penalty for every
minute over 3 hours...don't be late !
It will take about 9km to visit every control.
map = 1:10,000 with 5 meter contours
controls pre-marked on maps

The practice search and rescue will take place in May immediatly after
our local meet/cookout. More information on that later and on the web
