I thought with a black face it will warm up and start working shortly.
Well, it never did. By the end of the day I had resigned myself to the
major expense of a speedo.
I was all ticked off until I got home and actually took the time to
investigate. The cable had simply lost it's grip on the speedo and
slipped off to lay around behind the fairing!
These babies are bulletproof!!

cable at the speedo and it still did not work, so this information at
the spacer is what I was looking for. Thanks again.
