YAHOWAH is great!
I want to be clear about this. I am making a distinction between "the comforter", and all other maifestations of the Holy Spirit, because that is what Yehoshua haMashiach did.
We all bear witness that Ruach haQodesh, or the "Holy Spirit" (in English) was with men thousands of years prior to the life of Yehoshua, and
thousands of years after Yehoshua left, Ruach haQodesh is still with men.
We find Ruach haQodesh first mentioned in Psalms 51:11 "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me."
Yet there is no mention of "The Comforter" operating among men until Yehoshua speaks of him, other than King Sh'lomoh (Solomon) regretting the lack of a comforter in his generation.
So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.
Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.
Sh'lomoh describes Yisrael's lack of a comforter, as the opposite of the condition of the oppressors who had "power".
A Comforter must be able to deliver you from the enemy, and cause your enemies to fail In their attempts to destroy you. He will also provide you with the power to overcome your enemies. A comforter is highly favored of YHWH and is successful in all that he puts his hand to. He is a chosen vessel of YHWH to bear Ruach haQodesh: The Holy Spirit, either in full, or by measure.
Moshe ben Amram was a comforter, and in his hand the works of YHWH prospered greatly, so that the greatest kingdom of his day was toppled, and the children of Yisrael were delivered from the oppressor by an high hand, and a stretched out arm. In short, YHWH was with him, and the works that he did
were not his own,
When the Holy Spirit that was on Moshe was given to Yehoshua ben Nun, Yehoshua became the Comforter.
B'midbar 27:15-20 (numbers)
And Moses spake unto YHWH, saying,
Let YHWH, the Elohiym of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of YHWH be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
And YHWH said unto Moshe, Take thee Yehoshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is
the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
Now after the death of Moshe the servant of YHWH it came to pass, that YHWH spake unto Yehoshua the son of Nun, Moshes' minister, saying, Moshe my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Yordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moshe, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
To have YHWH on your side, against your enemies simply because YAH has anointed you to deliver the people, and has filled you with his spirit, as he did with all of his anointed: Adam (before the fall), Noah, Shem, Abraham, Jacob, the anointed Judges (Sh'mshown before the fall), The righteous anointed Kings of Yehudah before their respective falls (Yoshiyahu/Josiah never fell).
BACK TO SH'LOMOH (Solomon)
Like I said, no comforter.. King Sh'lomoh is
obviously depressed over the condition of man, and the fact that death will end the good works of one generation, as another generation enters in, and may possibly destroy those works.
I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man
what shall be after him under the sun?
You can clearly see that Sh'lomoh has recognized that, without everlasting life, all is vanity, and vexation.
I have spoken of the Comforter as being a particular manifestation of the Holy Spirit, upon YAH's anointed Judge/Deliverer of the Kingdom at Jerusalem. This makes it necessary for me to clearly identify the specific attributes, and identity of the comforter.
THE COMFORTERS OF YISRAEL; ANOINTED BY YHWH TO DELIVER HIS PEOPLE FROM ALL ADVERSARIES.
Iyobe (Job) 7:17-18
What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? And that thou shouldest
visit him every morning, and try him every moment?
Tehilim (Psalms) 8:4-5
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.
And YHWH Elohiym formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a
And YHWH Elohiym took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
And out of the ground YHWH Elohiym formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Awdawm called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
So Elohiym created man in his own image, in the image of Elohiym created he him; male and female created he them.
And Elohiym blessed them, and Elohiym said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And Elohiymblessed Noach and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the
earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Elohiym shall enlarge Yapheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Note: the "he" that shall dwell in the tents of Shem is Elohiym, not Yapheth. We know this because it clearly states that Yapheth did not dwell in the tents of Shem, and Canaan did not become a servant of the Yaphites.
The sons of Yapheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Yavan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and
And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
So the context is actually: Elohiym shall enlarge Yapheth, and Elohiym shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be Shem's servant.
Abraham, Ya'aqob, Moshe, Yehoshua, Sh'mshown Dawid, Eliyahu, Elisha, Yoshiyahu, ha Makabim, etc, Actually, ha Makabim (the Macabees) did not really make the list. They didn't tear any beats in half, or kill a thousand men single handedly, and they were not anointed of YHWH but they were still some bad dudes!
For the children of Yisrael shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim.
For roughly 600 years the Kingdom of Yehudah operated without an official king (since Zedekiah). Worse yet, there had not been a "Comforter" since King Josiah of whom it was said: "And like unto him was there no king
before him, that turned to YHWH with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him." 2nd Kings 23:25
YEHOSHUA WAS A COMFORTER
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
And the spirit of YHWH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YHWH.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of YHWH appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Yoseph, thou son of Dawid, fear not to take unto thee Miriyam thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Spirit.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yehoshua: for he shall save his people from their sins.
So now you can see where the Holy Spirit actually fits into Miriyam's conception. Not as the agent of impregnation, but as the purpose for her conception. She is bringing forth the chosen vessel of the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. For that which was conceived in her was of the Comforter!
it has been proven endlessly, that Yashiyahu 7:14 is not referring to a "virgin at all, but some
are not able to accept the literary facts of the matter. i will present them anyway.
WHEN IS A VIRGIN NOT A VIRGIN? WHEN IT IS SPELLED "`ALMAH"
Therefore YHWH himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
The word for virgin in the original Hebrew text of Yahiyahu (Isaiah) 7:14, is "`almah": Strong’s #: 5959 (al-maw'); a young woman, of “marriageable” age!
Now in the same book of Isaiah, there is another passage that
refers to a woman that has not consummated her marriage (has not had sex):
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy Elohiym rejoice over thee.
The word used for virgin in Yashiyahu (Isaiah) 62:5,is "B'thuwlyim": Strong’s #1330 (beth-oo-leem'); a virgin [that never had sex].
Why would the same author, use two different words to say virgin? The answer is that he did not use the same two words, and he never scribed the word "virgin". the translators did that.
They decided to use "Almah", and "B'thuwlyim" to
shape the uderstanding of the reader, just as the translators manipulate upper, and lower case characters, as in the case of "lord", "Lord", and LORD" cause one to assume that every time they see "LORD" it is speaking of YHWH, even when they call Yehoshua "LORD". This is why I urge all of you to get a good Hebrew/Greek/English DIctionary, and Concordance, if you are not literate iproficient those languages.
CONFIMATION OF THE FACTS...
To confirm the this determination is accurate, let's go to the Torah which has an example of a woman that has not had sex...
Wayiqra 21:1-4 (Leviticus)
And YHWH said unto Moshe, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aharown, and say unto them, There shall none be
defiled for the dead among his people: But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be
Again, the wor used here is not "Almah" (young woman) , it is "B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man).
Let's get more Torah...
And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Yet again, the word used here is not "Almah" (young woman), it is "B'thuwlyim" (never knocked sandals).
NOW LETS GO FOR THE OPTIMUM TRIPLE-PLAY!
And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
Yup, you guessed it, the word used here is not "Almah" (young woman), it is "B'thuwlyim" the correct Hebrew word to describe a woman that has not had her hymen penetrated.
Now, maybe this is clear cut in Torah, but who is to say that the prophet Yashiyahu did not mean to use "B'thuwlyim"? Well what witness can be found more faithful than the prophet Yeshiyahu, himself!
The English word "virgin" only appears five times throught the entire sisty-six cahpters of the Book of
the N'biy Yashiyahu (Prophet Isaiah) and every reference is to B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man) except the one in Isaiah 7:14 which Christians try to claim is speaking about Miriyam, mother of Yehoshua.
Yashiyahu 7:14 uses "`almah": Strong’s #: 5959 (al-maw'); a young woman, of “marriageable” age!
Yashiyahu 23:12 uses B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man).
Yashiyahu 37:22 uses B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man).
Yashiyahu 41:1 uses B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man).
Yashiyahu 65:5 uses B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man).
What Christians do not seem acknowledge is that if
Yashiyahu 7:14 were actually referring to the birth of Yehoshua, it would mean that Miriyam was not B'thuwlyim" (a woman that has not laid with man). Either way, it is proof beyond any doubt that Yashiyahu 7:14 is the worst possible scripture to use in trying tp perpetuate the myth of "virgin birth".
Now let's conclude the understanding of the comforter, that Yehoshua ben Yoseph ben Yehudah ben Yisrael was taught his desciples about.
PASSOVER THE SO-CALLED "LAST SUPPER".
Yehochanan (John) 14:16-17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
There we can see an example of the many aspects of the five W's that are intrinsic to gaining clarity in the scriptures.
1. When is this conversation taking place? It is taking place prior to the lynching of Yehoshua.
2. Whom is Yehoshua having this conversation with? He is having thie conversation with his desciples, at the Passover meal; the night he was taken to prison.
3. Why was this conversation necessary? Because Yehoshua was about to be violently separated from them, and they
would loose hope that the power of YHWH was still with them.
4. What was the focus of the conversation? The focus was the crucifixion, and the impact it would have on the ministry he was charging them to continue. Specifically, Yehoshua reassured them that the power that he had, would be available to them after he was crucified.
5. Where is all of this to take place? Yisrael, circa 33 AD.
Now let's see if all of this takes place in one generation, and if the focus of these events is the ancient ministry of the Apostles of Yehoshua, or if this applies to all generations?
"I will pray the Father, and he shall give you (the disciples at the Passover supper) another Comforter". So if those men were getting another comforter, it stands to reason that those men had a comforter prior to getting another comforter. The first comforter of those men was Yehoshua. This is why he said: "...I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you..."
SO THE PLAN LAID OUT AT THE PASSOVER SUPPER WAS THIS:
1. Yehoshua (the Comforter) was going to leave (by way of crucifixion) which would essentially leave the twelve desciples powerless before their enemies.
And they all forsook him, and fled. And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and theyoung men laid hold on him: And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
And they led Yehoshua away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
And Kipha followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
2. Yehoshua was going to go to the father, and father would send them another Comforter.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
3. Prior to going to the father, Yehoshua would not leave them (the twelve desciples) comfortless.
Upon his resurrection from the grave, he comforts them for forty days.
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Spirit had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of YAH.
4. After the day of Pentecost, there is no more running, hiding denying, or fleeing naked, by the 12 desciples, who were now the twelve holy
13] Now when they saw the boldness of Kiphah and JYehochanan, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Yehoshua. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
The Twelve were no back in full effect baby, with a new Comforter, and new power against evil. NO MORE RUNNING!
You asked me "how long is a generation?".
Well today a generation is thought to be the average distance between father, and son. The biblical understanding of a generation, is the birth of a man, to the death of that man.
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
A generation must first be born, to be declared, and it must pass away before the next can inherit. this is why the man that livet to see the birth of Yehoshua was ready to sleep with his fathers. He
knew that the generation that YHWH loved, had come.
And, behold, there was a man in Yerusalem, whose name was Sh'mown; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen YHWHs Mashiach.
And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and
when the parents brought in the child Yehoshua, to do for him after the custom of the law,
Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed Elohiym, and said,
YHWH, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
Bmr111, you asked me if "the was The Comforter for that generation only?"
I need only ask you ponder this... Has another generation been seen in the earth, with the power, might, grace; able to
deliver men from evil, and even raise the dead & stinklng, since the days of the Twelve Qadosh Sh'luachim (The Twelve Holy Apostles)???
For Elohiym so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The world that Yehoshua died for, passed on by at least 100 A.D. or so. As Ecclesiates said, it i the Earth that still abides, not the people.
Of the people of that age, the Comforter was sent only to the Twelve Apostles.
Of the people of that age, the twelve thrones were only offered to the twelve Apostles.
Is it so inconceivable that the Comforter was sent exclusively to help them on their mission, when Yehochanan baptized all of yisrael hust o find one
America teaches arrogance, and self importance, and religion teaches that the most important spiritual events revole around us, me we, and I. Never "them". This is the very opposite of "sanctification" which seperates according to the will of YHWH and not man.
The Comforter was sanctified by YHWH to the twelve Apostles, so that no one else could claim to be representatives of Yehoshua haMashiach. yet today, everyone claims to represent him. Even people doing horrible crap in private. Like Paul in the shambles. "Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:" "
The Twelve say:
Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to YAH: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of
idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
The false Apostle says:
Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
But to us there is but one El, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one prince yehoshua haMashiyach, by whom are all things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge:
for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. But meat commendeth us not to YAH: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.Yehoshua saya: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
"And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.""And I thank Machiach Yehoshua our Prince who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief."Yehoshua saya: "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the HolySpirit (the Comforter) shall not be forgiven unto men."
] Not every one that saith unto me, Adon, Adon, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven
] Many will say to me in that day, Adon, Adon,, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
] And it came to pass, when Yehoshua had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Kiphah, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.Kiphah means rock
, after the faith of Peter "Blessed art thou, Sh'mown Bar Yona"
"whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock".Paul or Paulus = "small or little" as in little rocks, or sand. "And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand"The Rock says: "And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit."The Sand tells lies: "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Kiphah;" ( them which say they are apostles, and are not, and
hast found them liars). The Rock is spoken of:
And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
Kipha hath declared how Elohiym at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. The Sand speaks of himself:
"For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office""thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars" "
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not
meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of YAH."thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars"
The Rock commends: "And account that the longsuffering of our prince is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you."The Sand condemns: "But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto the Rock before the
m all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?"The rock is steady but the sand is a shape-shifter: "And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, that I might gain them that are without law."The Sand says
: "For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before YAH"
"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." "Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith."The Rock says: "Thou believest that there is one Elohiym; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not
Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?"
Let's do ourselves a favor, and get a peice of the rock! The works of Kiphah came from YHWH just as Yehoshua said: "Blessed art thou, Sh"imown Bar Yona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven"

Qanna, you are correct in that the gentiles of the NT were actually hebrews. This is something that can be proven in the scriptures. Who the so-called Samaritans were, who the eunuch OF Ethiopia and who the gentiles were. We must remember the prophecy concerning the Nation of Israel (Northern Kingdom), especially in the book of Hosea. We can discuss much further detail of this through the Yahoo IM if you choose to. Israel (the Northern Kingdom) was the one given the bill of divorcement, and God would cause their "mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts (Hosea 2:11). It gets
much deeper then that as well. They had been cut off for over 400 years PRIOR to Christ's arrival.
My question is how long is a generation? And was The Comforter for that generation only? I will be on the Yahoo IM tonight for a bit, if you would like to discuss this in further detail. I enjoy many of your writings. You expound the scriptures straight to the point and always attempt to back up and prove your point. No bitterness or raw alterior motives. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks.
