ROMAN F. RAINOSEK, prominent rancher of Hallettsville, Texas died Friday, January 19, 1996 after a brief illness. He was born on February 6, 1902 in Hallettsville. He was manager of Victoria Country Club in Victoria, Texas until late 1940, when he moved back to Hallettsville, Texas to take up ranching. His pastime included a keen love for fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Thru his 93 years of life, Mr. Rainosek achieved many accomplishments on his own and most of all he was an honest and kind-hearted person to everyone. He was predeceased by his parents, Roman and Anna Rainosek, his first wife Eleanora Klekar Rainosek, sister, Mary Fritz Rainosek, brothers, Louis and Frank Rainosek, daughter, Georgia Mae Smith, sons, William J. and Dennis Rainosek and one granddaughter, Brenda Smith. Survivors include his devoted and beloved wife, Josephine (Grahmann) Rainosek, two sisters, Agnes Dornak and Annie Rainosek of Hallettsville, Texas. Daughters Ella Mae Bludau of Hallettsville, Texas, Ann Rice of Yoakum, Texas, Jo Ann Orsak of Goliad, Texas, Frances Kanak and Nancy Pavlichek of Victoria, Texas, Louise Kiehl and Mary Lee Sitka of Hallettsville, Texas and Irene Farrington of Friendswood, TX. Sons, Attorney, Roman Richard Rainosek of Houston, Texas, Paul Rainosek of Huntsville, Alabama and Joseph Rainosek of Victoria, Texas. 32 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services: Rosary, Sunday, January 21, 1996, 5:00 p.m. at the Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, Texas. Funeral, Monday, January 22, 1996 at 11:00 a.m., Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hallettsville, Texas. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hallettsville, Texas.
