Frances Hejny, 77, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Frances was born in Fannin County on January 7, 1936 to Roy William and Verna Mae (Carpenter) Adamson. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Forrest Avenue High School in 1954 she went on to attend Dallas College of Business. On October 29, 1955 she married Wesley W. Hejny and they made their home in Dallas.
She worked for Southwestern Bell for over thirty-one years until her retirement in 1993 as a PBX operator. She enjoyed reading her favorite subjects were mystery and romance.
She is survived by one son, Billy Joe Hejny of Balch Springs, Texas; two daughters: Carolyn and her husband, Ruben Gonzales of Midlothian, Texas and Deborah and her husband Johnny Hubacek of Dallas; seven grandchildren: six great-grandchildren and her mother, Verna Adamson of Balch Springs, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Adamson on January 29, 2007 and her husband, Wesley W. Hejny on May 19, 1995.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Brother William Vickery pastor of the Calvary Temple Church of Mesquite. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
