Houston, Tex., June 10.—“I’m getting awful tired of this world,” J. Z. Sbododa, a Bohemian farmer living near Crosby, told his grandson one night last week.
Funeral services were held this afternoon for the old man, who was found by the little grandson hanging from a rafter in the barn. The rope holding the body was so small that officers wondered that it had not broken by the weight of the body.
A verdict of suicide was rendered by J. W. Bonds, justice of the peace for Goose Creek. The family came from Bohemia about six years ago, bought the little farm near Crosby and have lived there since that time.
