Louise Cianciulli Netek, 80, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter at her side Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Rosary: 4 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Louise was born June 22, 1931, the youngest of eight children, in Summit, N.J., to the late Felice Cianciulli and Carmella Saracione Ciancuilli. She married Norman Netek on May 9, 1953, in Summit and after a short stay in the Panama Canal Zone, they moved to Texas.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, where she volunteered, and a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus #2813, where her husband was a member. She had a strong faith and was a devoted lifelong Catholic. Her hobbies included playing bingo and attending numerous events at the Knights of Columbus hall. Louise's main attraction of enjoyment was her time spent with her kids and three grandchildren, attending their special events and encouraging them to do their best. She was always concerned with everyone's welfare and never had a complaint.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. Netek; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Son, Jerry Netek and wife, Vanita of Buda; daughter, Denise McWilliams and husband, John, of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Kathleen and Angela McWilliams of Fort Worth, and Nadia Netek of Buda; and a host of nieces and nephews.
