Frankie Doskocil, 59, of Eddy, Texas, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012,
at his home with his family by his side. A private family service will be held
at a later date.
Frankie was born Sept. 8, 1952, in Rosebud, Texas, to
Frank and Viola Doskocil. He was a police officer
for 34 years for the City of Temple, the
Veterans Administration and he was a Sergeant at the Bell County Sheriffs
Office. Due to medical issues, he retired in 2001 and he spent his last years
raising cattle and enjoying the country side.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Frank.
Frankie is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons, Ryan
Doskocil and wife, Kristy, and Gary Bremer; a daughter, Karen Herzog and
husband, Lloyd; his mother, Viola Doskocil; a sister, Barbara Rubino and
husband, Allan; a sister-in-law, Dianne Woods and husband, Roland; eight
grandchildren, Cory Rodak, Whitney Bremer, Brooke Harrell, Abigail Doskocil,
Garrett Bremer, Zachary Scaffidi, Xavier Doskocil and Chloe Doskocil; one
nephew, Phillip Rubino; and a circle of amazing and loving
Frankie bravely fought a short term illness. His family and
friends stood by his side until the Lord took him home. Special thanks are also
given to the amazing Hospice nurses and certified nurse's assistant for their
heartfelt help and devotion.
