HOMER A. JAHN JR. was born in Houston, Texas on May 5, 1942 to Homer
Sr. and Edith Jahn. On the evening of August 3, 2008 he said goodbye to
his wife, children and lifelong friend Mark Taylor and departed this life
to be with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving
wife Gwen Trenary, his children Keith (Sheri) Jahn, Kevin (Jennifer) Jahn
and Melissa (Mark) Neer and his seven grandchildren, Ashlee, Erin, Emma,
McKenzie and Holden Jahn, Lauren and Samantha Neer. Step-son Lance
(Paulette) Trenary and daughters, Alexandra and Elizabeth.
Homer was an entrepreneur, a jack of all trades who loved fixing
things around the house, playing his saxophone, and cooking. He was proud
to be a native Texan and life-long Houstonian and loved being outdoors,
especially on the water in Galveston Bay.
A memorial service in celebration of Homer's life will be held at 2
p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2008 at Memorial Baptist Pasadena, 6901
