Ruth Helen Bacak, age 80, of Alvin, Texas passed away June 10, 2005, in
Houston, Texas. She was born on March 14, 1925, to parents, Curtis Horace
Clark and Hazel Hiner Clark. She was a lifetime resident of Alvin and of
the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband
Charlie Earl "Jake" Bacak; and her son, Clifford Earl Bacak.
Survivors are daughter and son-in-law, Fay Eileen Bacak and David Lucio of
Alvin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nelda and Jack Hataway Sr. of
Webster, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Chris Fleming of
Dickinson, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Gloria Bacak of Alvin,
Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cynthia Bacak of Alvin, Texas;
sister, Vonda Wollam of Danbury, Texas; sister-in-law, Bessie Nelson of
Shidler, Okla.; life-long best friend, Mae Blissitt of Alvin, Texas;
grandchildren: James Hataway, Jack Hataway Jr. and Brad Bacak; and
great-granddaughter, Nicole Hataway.
Pallbearers were: David Bacak, James Hataway, Garry Bacak, Jack Hataway Jr.,
Chris Fleming and Brad Bacak. Honorary Pallbearers were Johnny Blissitt,
David Lucio, Mike Blissitt, Martin Lucio, Mark Blissitt, Jeff Doelitsch and
Jack Hataway Sr.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Froberg Chapel. Funeral
services were held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Froberg Chapel. Interment
was at Houston National Cemetery.
