EDNA - Albina Parencia Skloss, 93, of Edna, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004.
She was born Jan. 24, 1911, in Port Lavaca, to the late Charlie and Mary
Kovar Parencia. She was a graduate of Port Lavaca High School and Southwest
Texas State University and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Blue
Belles at Jackson Healthcare Center, and Vanderbilt Sewing Club. She was a
retired teacher for Industrial Independent School District and a member and
elder of Presbyterian Church of Vanderbilt.
Preceded in death by: husband, Edmund Skloss; sisters, Willie Mae Schoelman
and Vlasta Parencia; and brother, Charlie Parencia.
Visitation will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today at Slavik Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Edna Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Jack
Burial will be at Memory Gardens of Edna. Slavik Funeral Home, Edna,
Memorials: donor's choice.
