ELINOR M. BREZIK, born February 21, 1906 to Joseph and Frances Brezik in
Hallettsville, Texas died May 28, 2004 at St. Dominic Nursing Home in
Houston, Texas at the age of 98. A longtime resident of the Houston Heights,
Elinor moved back to her birthplace in 1983 and resided in Hallettsville
until she entered St. Dominic Nursing Home in 1998. Elinor was formerly an

became familiar with Houstonians when her picture appeared in every edition

She is survived by her brothers, Reverend Victor B. Brezik, CSB, Albert J.
Brezik and his wife, Anne and Wallace A. Brezik and many nephews and nieces.
Special thanks are given to Elinor's niece, Frances Allday for her devoted
attention and to the nurses and administrators of St. Dominics's Nursing
Home for their many kindnesses and excellent care. The family will receive
friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary scheduled for
