Daniel Emil "Dan" Vasek, 74, of Victoria, died Saturday, March 1,
He was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Zabcikville, to the late Emil and Verlie
Vasek. He was a veteran, having served two years during the Korean
Conflict. He was a carpenter and formerly worked for Johnny Pavlica
Survivors: wife, Margaret Guenat King-Vasek; daughter, Beverly
Doolittle of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; stepsons, Charley King of
Victoria and John King of The Woodlands; sisters, Naomi Wilde of
Pasadena, Julia Cook of Victoria and Shirley Jean Snow of Temple;
brothers, James Vasek of Bolland and John Vasek of Temple; one
grandchild; and two step-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: first wife, Virgie Ann Vasek; and parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, the Rev.
Dominic Antwi-Boasiako, Brother Henry Learn and Mr. Dan W. Goyen
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosewood Funeral Chapels,
