Marvin G. Roznovak, 81, of Taylor died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001 at Scott & White
Hospital in Temple.
Visitation was Saturday, 6-7pm at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life services were held at 2pm, Sunday, Dec. 23 at Taylor Brethren
Church with the Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial was at Taylor City Cemetery.
Marvin Gilbert Roznovak was born Dec. 11, 1920 to John & Agnes(Hurta) Roznovak
in Taylor and was a lifetime resident of Taylor.
On August 12, 1943 he was married to his beloved wife, Artie B. Preuss. He was a
retired farmer and a member of the Taylor Brethren Church were he had served on
the board of elders.
Marvin was also a member of the American Legion Post #39 and the local SPJST
Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII with active duty in Europe.
He was prceded in death by his parents and one brother, Reynold.
Survivors include his wife, Artie B; and his beloved daughter, Kathy Woodward and
her husband, Richard all of Taylor.
Many friends and relatives also survive.
Pallbeareres were Russell Hyvl, Kenneth Schwenke, Mark Scarborough, Willie
Vrana, Dwight Blahuta, Wayne Svadlenak and James Zvonek. Honorary
pallbearers were Bob Scarborough, David Scarborough and Raymond Mazac.
