Cooke of the 27th NC before or after the incident of "Battery
Longstreet" in the Piper farm area?? Who took over from Sorrel
his duties of the principal adjutant for Longstreet after the
wounding and until his return to duty?
Sorrel does not say in his Memoir who did take over for him,
