Geo-Marine, Inc. is seeking five Field Technicians for work at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho beginning April 23, 2012. Work weeks will consist of four 10-hour days and applicants must be capable of walking up to 10 miles (16 km) a day. Much of the survey methods are technologically intensive and applicants must be capable of adapting to the necessary tools, such as GPS and PDA units.
No per diem or lodging will be provided, so it is encouraged that applicants live in the Boise area.
Candidates must have a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology, as well as an archaeological field school. Candidates must have a demonstrated background working with prehistoric archaeological materials and have a fundamental knowledge of GPS tools. Preference will be given to individuals with archaeological experience in the Great Basin or Plateau regions and arid environments.
