Unless I hear otherwise.. I'll bring:
My THD7, a 2m jpole, assorted coax and my collection of assorted HT's and
other assorted stuff. I am also going to call the ARRL and have the scouting
brochures shipped down here by Friday. I'll see if I can find some of the
skywarn brochures on the internet, and take my copier allowance at work.
Also.. What time can we get in Saturday morning? I'm sure we'll want to be
there bright and early to get things going. I'm sure that we'll even be able
to set up some of the stuff Friday if we want.

Subject: Spectacular Update
Jon Pearl (W4ABC) and myself are pleased at the responses for our
request for help at the upcoming Scout Spectacular on March 27th. Its
good to know that Ham Radio is alive and well in West Central Florida.
The agenda will hopefully include demonstrations of UHF/VHF/HF/APRS, and
possibly satellite transmissions. Our incentive program will allow up
to 10 (ten) scouts to receive a 2 meter handheld if they take and pass
the Technician Exam within 90 days of the Spectacular event. I will
bring 3 sample Alinco handheld radios with me to display at the event.
I WILL BRING MAR, 27TH

I hear that there is some contesting going on that weekend. It might be
a good idea to set up a station for that.
If anyone has access to Skywarn information packages or brochures they
would be a welcome addition to the tables.
