Bensalah Reiterates Algeria's Support to Just Causes

Abdelkader Bensalah, Chairman of the National People's Assembly (APN),
reiterated Monday morning Algeria's indestructible and lasting support
to all just causes in the world, including that in Western Sahara.
During his audience with the members of the Algerian commission of
solidarity with the Sahraoui people, Mr. Bensalah considered that the
United Nations Organization, after examining the Western Sahara issue,
has drawn up "resolutions that enable the Sahraoui people to express
themselves and to exert its right to self-determination."
Mr. Bensalah deplored "the position of our Moroccan brothers rejecting
the principles of right and justice" and "the positions and choices they
have themselves made in the past."
APN Chairman Bensalah hailed the efforts of the national commission of
support to the Sahraoui people intended to support its cause and has
called on its members to intensify their efforts at the national and
international levels by supporting this cause in international forums.
As for Commission Chairman Mehrez Mohamed Lamari, he affirmed that this
commission "cannot shut up faced up with the relentlessness and
overstatements of certain Moroccan parties," denouncing "these
behaviours that target Algeria."
He pointed out that "there is a national consensus around the Western
Saharan cause," announcing for this purpose the organisation next March
19 to 30 of a week of solidarity with the Sahraoui people nationwide,
coinciding on March 19th with the celebration of Algeria's victory.
As concerns the meeting of his commission with the APN Chairman, Mr.
Lamari recalled that the latter is in keeping with the series of
meetings with State officials, party leaders and national associations.
