The Meltho software allows users to create Syriac documents and web pages under Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It also permits users to view documents created by others under Windows 95/98/ME. The software is available free of charge. The cost of the fonts� production was donated by many generous institutions, foundations and individuals whose names appear on the Meltho web page.:Meltho fonts support the three scripts Estrangelo, Serto (West Syriac), and East Syriac. The supported languages are Classical Syriac, Surith/Swadaya, Turoyo, Garshuni and Christian Palestinian Aramaic. The fonts can be used to create Word and Publisher documents, web pages, Power Point presentation, Access database, e-mails, graphics and other types of documents.
