Luke 2:10-12: Then the angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.
Savior! Christ Lord! This was the babe in waddling cloths. Our Savior, our Christ, our Lord,we worship you.
The great joy is the joy of having a “Savior” as Christ and as Lord. Maywe experience this great joy, Lord, aswe remember your birth. You are still born today only in a manger a lowly heart, made low by repentance and the need for a Savior. Mayour heart be found a manger, and may our joy be great, Lord, knowing that you are indeed born in us.
It was the shepherds lowly men of lowly occupation who saw Jesus in the manger. Is this not the same today? Only the humble see Christ as Savior and Lord. Grant, Lord, thatwe come in lowliness of heart to worship you as Savior and Christ and Lord.
Let us bless the Lord for the great joy that is ours, and bless one another with that joy,
Thankful for your prayers,
